    Hello All,

Does anyone have any pictures of fake rackets?

How much do you think fake rackets hurt bigger badminton companies that spend the money in research and development only to have their hard work and money stolen by copiers?

Fake rackets often look very identical comparing to the real ones. However, the quality is not consistent and each one of them could look a little bit different.

isn't that why genuine racquets cost so much? its the same for university textbooks. people photocopy them so the publishers make them more expensive expensive. at least here in toronto, i see this happening a lot.

You know why the racket cost that much.....

Most of the portion goes to Marketing and Sponsor. R&D is not the biggest pie in the chart. Can u imagine a badminton racket can cost more than US$200.00 What is that made of? There is a lot hi-tech NAME components add to the racket. But it can't help you to win the match. It just make you look good ..at the most. Those top players can use whoever sponsor racket as long as they pay the top money. Tennis is a very good example. YY is king in badminton because there is no big player at all. The market is much smaller than tennis or golf...

I will think about using CY, SOTX, ASTEC or ..whatever to stay away from the high price of Yonex..
