Co-Ed Rec Badminton for Young Adults (Drop In) CCYAA is happy to announce the start of their co-ed rec badminton program in North York for adults 18 & over male and female. www.ccyaa.org Location is at A.Y. Jackson Secondary School - 100 Francine Drive (map below) http://maps.google.ca/maps?f=q&hl=en&q=50+francine+drive+north+york&ie=UTF8&z=15&om=1&iwloc=addr (entrance is at the left side of the school) Every Wednesday until mid May from 6-9pm for just $3 (Three dollars) So i went to check this out last wednesday, it was pretty good although initially we were playing in the small gym which only meant 3 courts. But now i've been told there will be 6 courts now that they've obtained the bigger gym. the set up is pretty much going to be 15 min play on 5 courts and probably a challengers court (on the 6th court) where winner stays on. this drop in just started up last week so they're still trying to get the kinks out but it seems as this will be the place play on wednesday nights. so i encourage you guys to check it out!
honestly the hasn't been many people showing up, in terms of the regular females there they would be intermediate, and the guys that do show up (mostly me but usually late heh) it is again intermediate.
