Hi, everybody. Here I have a question about the tension of the racket -- cab 20 tour. In fact, recently i get an old version cab 20 tour (old logo). Basicly, it had no big crash before. So I want to ask anybody here is still using this racket and how high tension it can suffer. ( PS: current tension of my racket is around 25lb.) Thank you very much.
if there is no structural damage then it should be able to take up to maybe 28lbs with a good stringer. why string it any higher though? if your pro enough to take upwards of 26lbs you probably play alot and should invest in another racquet instead.
In fact, I have serveral rackets in my bag. But I want to try the exact feeling of this racket. That is why I wanna know the max tension.
Now i am using the original cab 20. So i want to make a comparison between two rackets. And because cab 20 tour had discontinued, i really want to try it.
I don't know it because I just got it. Nomally I am using 25lbs on my all rackets (all oval), there are some chips on head. I had asked the former owner for the condition. --- NO BIG CRASH. So i am confusing with the tension i decide. BTW: thank you for your help.
I string my Cab 20 Tour Specials at 25.0/27.5lbs. or 26.0/28.5lbs. or a high of 26.5/29.0lbs. with no problems. The highest I've strung a Cab is a Cab 20 Tour 27.5/30lbs. with absolutely no problems.
yeah.. i assume u play single and 30lbs its okay.. dont even try to hit the court land, so u better watch out for this. some single player sometime still do that. even taufik hidayat does, he makes my ns9000 crash to the court and get scrap paint damage on the frame
