Last time I went to sportslink, find some types of ashaway badminton strings. But I didn't see any of them have the name as i find in www.ashawayusa.com. The only familar name I saw was MicroPower, but it is at 0.66 thickness.

Can someone help to tell me that what are the ashaway strings available in Singapore?

I tried looking around for Powergut, but it seems almost impossible to fine, so far I have found Microlegend (which I am currently using), Micropower, and Rally 21 and 22 (Both hard to find though). Microlegend can be found at Bras Basar. The Micropower is a very good string though (0.66mm gauge).

True, Maybe it is the Asian version or something like that, but it is great, the sound and feel is just amazing.

Its durability is slightly better then BG66 IMO, but your mileage may vary. Are you a hard hitter?

I took the photos in that post #11, and vouch that the packaging claims the string is of 0.66mm thickness. As others in that thread have commented, it is possible that Ashaway produces a 0.66mm version for the Asian market.

To be honest I am not so sure. I did not try to further investigate the matter because I did not like the feel of the string and have since discontinued using the version of the Micropower string sold in Singapore and Malaysia.

i have already seen that photo a hundred times! i don't need to look at it because I too have one of those 0.66 mm MP's... i contacted ashaway, and they said that MP's are 0.70mm nothing else... did it imply that those 0.66 that i have are fake?..

Can you just not import the sting you want form either the us or the uk and have your stringer fit what ever you want.

here in the phils, most are the 0.66 type... but some sports shops sell the 0.70mm.. the difference is that, 0.70 is enclosed in a plastic bag... unlike the asian version of it...

Since they are the authorised distributor, they probably have the rights to make other models of strings just like Yonex Sunrise Singapore who makes BG6 strings and SB-99 shoes for the region that it distributes to....
