I have been doing jump smashes for awhile, but this is the first time I've gotten photographed. Is this the proper execution of the jumpsmash? Do I need more height, more rotation, etc. Any input/criticisms are valued!

Your feet look slightly forced at the top of your smash. Correct me if I'm wrong, but from what I see most of hte pro players don't have their calves at a perpedicular angle. It's more parallel so that when they land, they are already on their toes moving forward.

Oh yes, it was a doubles game, and my feet just naturally make their way to that position

Try to do the straightening part more properly. Well I don't know whether the second photo was taken exactly when the straightening part should be over, but you should straighten your feet and body properly to get more power out of the jump smash. Try to get a short video clip for us, it'd be better.

form looks very good! thoguh fromt hese two foto's it looks like you were well on your way down when you smashed..not really at your peak..negating the effect of extra hight..
that, or you just have a very short swing...

Thanks for replying guys! Jerby, I think you're right about the short swing part, mayb that's why I'm so weak :p and as for Chire, I'll try to get a video next time, but that's gonna be abit harder to obtain.

from what i can tell, i dont think that there is enough body rotation in your swing. maybe it's because of how the pictures were taken, but that's what it seems to me.

Difficult to tell if your smash technique is right from that picture, although I would say your elbow is a bit low in the preparatory position.

From these pictures it looks like your partner needs to stand further back. If you are right at the back smashing he shouldn't be on or even slightly in front of the service line. The anly shot he can return fom this position is a net block, leaving you to pick up every other shot which since you are jumping your recovery is slower and could lead to you struggling to get a wel placed shot.

However it is difficult to tell based on just two photos.
