Hi, I'd like to start playing social badminton in Melbourne again after twenty years away from the game. Does anyone have any recommendations on a friendly group that I can play with - evenings would be best but weekends are also OK. I live near the Ashburton rec centre which has four courts but unfortunately does not appear to have a regular group that plays there. The MSAC seems to have a lot going on but I'm not so keen on going all that way to play, so somewhere closer would be better. Any advice much appreciated! Cheers, Paul
Hey there, If you dont mind come down to Monash University on fridays from 7 pm to 11 pm and sundays 2pm to 6 pm.The monash badminton club runs at those days and hours.I play there every week. it is 8 dollars per game.Birdies are provided. Cheers mate
Hi, Thanks for the info. Can I assume that you don't have to be staff or a student to attend? Does it have a mixture of skill levels - I used to be quite good, but I'm clearly rusty (and older) these days! Cheers, Paul
