Hello, I want to say thanks to Matt & other person ( sorry can't remember name?) For checking two of my New Yonex rackets. I want to find out , if anyone up there had same problem getting fake Yonex product from those two E bay Sellers. On E Bay they go by this names: TomySolineStore out of California ( USA ) SportsCanadaTrust out of Edmonton Alberts ( Canada ) I am curentlly speaking with Yonex Co.I also contacted E Bay & Pay Pal and about to Nail those two sellers and take them to court if I need to. Thanks, Best Regards, Les Korcala
another one is tum98. i've bought from tum98 before and he is a very good ebayer. fast response and fast shipping and good prices.
Not meant to ruin anyone's business. Purchase rackets from ebay, in general is a risky case. Even with reputable ebay sellers, you still need to deal with the risks such as shipping (lost or damage) and warranty (Yonex USA does NOT honor warranty to non US/CD rackets). As of myself, I usually purchase from local dealers. Yeah, the price is a bit higher (but still reasonable), but you get the hands-on service, and once you need to get invloved with return/exchange/warranty, etc, there are always ppl you can track down and speak to.
E -Bay Purcase Why ? May explanation , why i purcased via E Bay two Nano's 9000 I been out of game for 17 years! and did not have clue , there was Fake badminton racqets up there! In 80's We play with Carb 8 & 9 here in US and nobody was doing any fake stuff! I was very proud to have sponsor from Yonex for 3 season in New England area. Now bak in sport at 46 years old , I went on E bay with out checking and got two Nano's 9000 from two diferent E Bay venders. Sure they looked very good , I would say for Fake rackets they look awsome close. After working with Matt Badminton Central Member who knows he's stuff about finding very small deatils, we found, they both were Fake Yonex. I have to say, that depite they not Real Yonex, I had good games and would rate them close to my Old Carb 8 prtformace! But I don't think they would last many trainings at high intance games! So I contaced E Bay venders about them selling Fake Yonex product and they are coaperating very well now. I am in process fully recover my $280 investment in two Yonex racqets. One of the vender even said to keep the racquet he sold me. It was SportsCanadaTrust E Bay ID he said: that he most of got bad batch of Yonex racuets fro asia market, he did apologazed for mistake. So, Again I want to say to Matt for all the wark he did for me! With out he's help, I would not Recover any my Money from E Bay sellers. He did conviced me & prooved thet both Nano's were fake produced and I continued to put pressure with many E mails. If you want to get your money back do you home work and talk to sellers as many times as takes to get your refounds. Happy Badminton, Les Korcala
you persistance help u get your money back. Often many sellers are not that persistance nor know what recourse they have. Shutting down fake sellers are noble but remember they can just restart the business again under a new ebay name. They might even have several ebay stores under several names. Counterfeiting is a huge business in china (and africa, india)/ Do a search in BF on fakes and counterfeit, lots of articles on this topic
It's good that you can get refund. However, the excuse of "bad batch" simply is a lie to me. This ebayer definitely knows what he gets, as he clearly knows that he is against the law. He simply plays the dirty trick to collecting his profit. The "good service" he provided, only serves one intention, as to continue to hide under the "good business" cover, and steal more hard-earned $$$ from other ppl.
Ebay Refound Look Pal, What I said was that both of the E bay Venders cooporate with me and you should to give them second chance! He did not Kill anyone! He do not make those racquets either! he got ripped off like me. I happened to use a trick and shake him off with my lowyer help and both diferent venders got scare of the situation and I got my money back. If he was a jerk , he would never reponded back to may e amils or would never put FULL REFOUND back to my Pay Pal. One of them is no longer member of E Bay and he still worked with me and let me keep my racquet and 2 days later fully refounded me! He did not have to do that! He could say Good luck dude next time! I was very frustrated when I found that both racquets were fake Yonex product. We will never knoe , if he got " Bad Batch" or not, my Point is he went extra mile and refound fully my money no qestions ask! So lets live it where it is and be carefull next time! Ps: Just picked up two Top of the line Forza's racquets from Denish top player! Sorry for bad spelings. Les K.
Fake NS 9000 on ebay? Does anyone have experience buying from vikingreich on eBay? He/She sells many NS 9000's on eBay. I personally believe that those sell counterfeits should be identified and punished. I also believe that those who sell real ones should be promoted. Other than the serial numbers and visually check the paint qualities, is there a better way to identify if the racket is counterfeit? Has anyone try calling Yonex for this? Thanks.
I disagree with your interpetation here and this why. If you are buying Yonex rackets to redistribute you are going to expect the real thing. If you get a fake you are going to return them or take action. If you cannot return them why would you in good conscience sell them as fakes? A reputable person would sell them at a good price to a school or other group as fake Yonex product and be upfront. Not these guys, they use the Yonex name in their E-Bay ads and they usually use the copyrighted Yonex logo and images to sell rackets to unsuspecting consumers. No, nobody died or got physically hurt but young badminton players are getting duped! Fake products are everywhere and they have resulted in deaths. Fake car parts, airplane parts, etc. have all contrubuted to failures. The motivation is the same no matter what the product. The profit is the driver and the who gets hurt is no matter to these dealers. I think it's good to see so many of BF members identifying any and all fake product sellers. Keep at it.
Please add to your list of guys on E Bay that are fake sellers. Tilalium and alienwaxe. I would be very suspicious of fumolove as well. His layout is very similar to another fake seller. If you are getting a Yonex Nano or Armotec the Japan made rackets do not come strung! If it is strung and still has the plastic on the handle I would be very wary!! Why would you string a racket if you didn't know you could get the money to cover the cost of string and labour in an auction like E Bay?
would you mind send differences of pictures between real and fake Yonex NS9000 rackets, to help who wants to buy original ones
If you look on the forums, there is discussions about that. Not directly related but same implications apply.
