I am not sure if they are going to keep Jung Jae Sung/Lee Yong Dae for the long-term since there's quite an age gap between them. On the other hand, Lee Yong Dae has been also paired with Cho Gun Woo in the Junior events and won both the Asian and World Juniors with ease, totally destroying the other junior pairs. This pair probably has more future since both of them are still 18! They are probably the pair to look out for in the Olympics 2012 when they are their prime (24 years old)! event probably has more inside stories about the Korean players
Well, as was reported on Badzine International recently, the head coach of the Korean national team, Kim Joong-soo, intends for Lee and Jung to play together for 6 years. That would take them up to the 2012 Olympics when Lee will be 24 and Jung 30. Thirty years of age is pretty normal for a retiring Korean player. In 2004, the all-Korean men's doubles final featured 29-year-olds Kim and Ha versus 30-year-olds Lee and Yoo. Park Joo-bong came out of retirement to win silver in mixed in 1996 at age 32. He was 28 and Kim Moon-soo was 29 when they won gold in Barcelona.

No real news about Jeon and Yoo. They are both 20 this year. The Vietnam Open was only attended by their university(Wonkwang)'s men's team and one professional women's team (KT&G). So these guys don't seem to have got the nod to play at many tournments yet under the auspices of the national team as such, although they are members thereof.

Does double gold-medal winner Le Jung-mi look 36 years old?
