Badminton Clubs/Courts

Hello!

I've just recently rellocated from the Philippines to the West Coast due to my work and I'm finding it hard to find badminton courts here. I still don't have my Cabs with me

I've played once at Smash City with friends, but since I don't drive a car the 45 or so minute drive from Concord can be a nuissance. If I wanted to play I had to tag along a car-driving friend. This limits the frequency I can play badminton

I would like to play after I got off work, which is around 7pm on weekdays. I'm reserving my weekends for household chores but if a court is readily accessible that might change.

Does anyone know of good courts near the Concord, Walnut Creek, Pleasant Hill area? Accessible by bus or BART and open at nights and/or weekends will be great.

I think there might be open gym at Contra Costa College. You might want to call them and make sure.

Contra Costa College is open on Mondays from 7:30-10:00pm.
Parking lots require permits and streets are free.

You can try GGBC in Emeryville, about 30 minutes away.

The new Bintang3 gym is going to be available in Dublin in a few months. It is just 10 minutes away.

Pleasanton Thomas Hart Middle School has open gym on Saturday, from 8pm - 11pm, and Sunday from 7pm - 10 pm. You may want to subscribe to Yahoo Groups http://sports.groups.yahoo.com/group...badminton_gym/
