...that's what my racket was saying after the match. This Cab20TS lasted me about 3 weeks before it went to Badminton Heaven, 3 hours ago. I mishit a few shots (give credit to the opponents) and near the end of the match, mishit a smash and heard a "crunch" sound. I didn't think anything of it and continued to finish the match with said racket even though I noticed the racket balance was way off. The match ended and I proceeded to put the racket back into my bag and well, noticed this, my latest victim. ... ... ...
DAMN!! sorry for the loss. let's add another to the gentle panda's list. I guess these broken rackets are your bamboo right?? =)
As long as you dont quit badminton, everything will be fine after this.If I am not wrong,Koreans arent quitters.
:S, I think you'll need to get a racket made for you personally - with extra strength and durability! Speaking of broken rackets... A guy at my club recently broke his AT800OF - in three places at once! He had a clash with another guy and his racket went flying... and hit the floor in a mutilated mess... Either it was pretty badly damaged already, or somehow the initial crack in the frame as the rackets collided caused the others to follow. God it really looks trashed, I'll have to upload a pic sometime (he gave it to my friend) .
Only 3 weeks old? Man thats an infant! You're one mean owner. Well sorry to hear about it, but wow, you must have power in those arms to be able to mishit until it cracked.. I only worry about the paint chipping off when the shuttle hits the frame..
Not 3 hours, 3 weeks. But I switched off among five rackets. I just happened to us this one as my main racket.
He thinks you're a Korean.. are you? And he hopes you don't quit badminton after breaking your racquet.
I don't know where he got the notion I was Korean. I've said all along, I'm an ABCGP (American Born Chinese Gentle Panda).
In that case I'm a MBCE. Malaysian Born Chinese Elephant. My favourite racquet broke before too.. in a nasty clash with a left hander. And his racquet got off with nothing! I guess in that case Yonex vs. Dunlop, and Yonex won.
I don't know what's wrong; I'm one sad Panda. Panda see shuttle, Panda hit shuttle. Few weeks later, racket breaks. Repeat. Bad Panda! Bad Panda! :crying:
Ahhhh, there's a slight difference though. Your racket(s) break from clashing. Mine break from mishitting the shuttle, snapping the shaft or handle. If I were to add clashing, that would be a few more rackets broken. Bad Panda! OT: my sister-in-law is an MBC too. But not elephant.
Another tooth pick for the panda.... I guess the Cab20 is on the "Stairway to heaven"... Another good racquet gone to heaven..
so how many rackets have you broken already?? Now I know why you need to buy 10 rackets at one go. Maybe you can start a new thread in the Equipment Forum. "Racket Break Check" or something.
Yes, I know that. Thats P-O-W-E-R, Panda! Amazing! But.. I still can't imagine it. For a feather thing to break a RACQUET! A cheap tiny thing.. to break an expensive racquet.. now thats called a mighty midget(Eddy Choong =P). Don't know how you got your nick but mine doesn't suit me. I only start stampedes once in a while. I've been a bit paranoid since then.. I try my best to let the other person take the shuttle. Usually shout, "Yours!" when we're both nearby the shuttle. I'd rather lose a point than lose another fav. racquet. Never got over the loss. Quite obviously here your hurt over broken racquets heal fairly quickly. Lol!
