hey recently i cut my strings because they feel dead, but one of the knots sort of got into the grommet hole, i managed to pull it out but the grommet is forced open wide and its slightly pushed out, i try to push it in but I cant, today just restrung and the string seems to be touching the racket surface slightly, its supposed to be surrounded by grommets but the grommets are torn. the thing making me worry is that the hole seems to have been forced a bit wider by the string, i tried taking pictures my 1.3 megapixels cant give a clear shot on close in. I hope my explaination is clear enough can anyone tell me about this situation Im in?

Fortune Cookie say: if racket intact, grommet hole size no worry.

your racket should indeed be fine..but you might (might!) break your strings at that spot, if that does happen replace the grommet...
