I have been slicing quite regularly recently and either by coincidence or not, the tension on my strings has gone awkward. I was thinking that maybe it has something to do with how the birdie pushes off the racquet? Maybe it keeps pushing the strings to the sides? My question: Is slicing detrimental to the string tension of a badminton racquet?
Slicing more often and with more force is a great way to cultivate a relationship with your stringer .
slicing of shuttles. Hi, Slicing of shuttles will make yr string misaligned and if u slicing is inaccurate and causes yr string to come in contact with the shuttles' central hard n sharp mini-shaft, yr string will definitely kaput. Personally, I think misalignment will cause yr string to lose abit of tension. Just my 2 cts. Lee
