Coach that helps me out at School Hugh Boyd Secondary He's the Guy in the Yellow Shirt his name is Jason Chan =) this is a video of how he plays it only 30 secs http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=G3V3o2Mza5A what do u guys think ???
His coverage is good and strokes seems to be reasonable. How are the two opponents that he and SmashingBird are playing against? You can't and shouldn't judge a coach by how s/he plays. A good player doesn't necessarily make a good coach and vice versa.
that was a tourny game i belive and well he usually plays badminton he is our top junior players older bro and his little brother is same age as me 15 and can beat the whole senior team =/ anyways Jason took his time and tried to coach us and btw Badminton BC's Coach came to my school to teach us for one day.. wow i saw a video and he can clear with just a little hit ( i wasnt there because i was suspended ) and jason and the badminton BC's coach rally-ed and the badminton BC coach said jason was really good and talented =O he is smart in choices he said.. well i cant wait till Feburary the coach is comming back
quite hard to judge with this one rally.......but his strokes are not bad. the opponents look lazy though
technique wise, and tactically, form what we can see in one rally, it's good. he was a little late on the short serve, and a little late on the jumpsmash, but technique is good. great net-intercepts by mr.Blue I must say! and also a bit of an unusual ending to the rally
Two things stand out to me after a quick look. 1. The opponents (players on the far side) are several steps below the level of the players on the near side. This make's it a little hard to see the players true level. 2. What I see (on the near side) is two singles players playing doubles. To be fair, I'm guilty of playing like this a lot of the time, too. Wayne Young
The players on the near side are joking around. I don't think they need to pair up to finish off the opponents .
the yellow guy has the grace of tony and the blue guy has the jump smash of taufik...this video brings tears to my eyes
I hope you are not paying for his coaching since it seems to be a school badminton program. The whole match was full of unecessary errors... net kills that go out of court and the # of times he net kills the shuttle into the net... A good coach will always tell players that they should try hard in every game, because if you can't focus during a game(even if there is a gap between skill level), you ain't going to be completely focus in a tournament... obviously, the way they treated that tournament match was nothing more than a fun game only. Get yourself the Zhao JianHau DVD sets instead, you will improve if you are willing to make adjustment and practice.
the coaching is free=/ meh its alrite , he didnt try his best i guess and i think he is really good at singles =/ and pete you know Jason CHan ?
Have u seen Jason's brother Eric Chan play? he is the best on our team =) and hmm i have never really seen Jason try to play or w/e
