Recommended by the manufacturer, probably around 14-18lbs.

    Recommended by me, 24-28lbs.

Reccomended by who? If the manufacturer then will be 14-18lbs (as stated by coolfire-Any relation to cooler?:)). And being that it is a lower end racket I wouldn't reccomend going much higher than that. If reccomended by people then read this thread http://www.badmintonforum.com/vb/showthread.php?t=12569

Are you suggesting coolfire + cooler = cool firer? :D Seriously, Carlton & Slazenger should come out with a baddie racquet model named, SpitFire :D :D :D.

If you cant be specific about the model then 20lbs is a good benchmark, most racquets wont collapse at those tensions.

Carlton and Slazenger did generate a racquet together... Back in the early 70s... Stainless steel, round head... still have it ... Need to get back in the game after ~30 years post injury, and now have R.A. Is Slazenger still top mark, or is Yonex best?? Have a very small hand (glove size 51/2)... Thanks for the help ! ! ! Love the idea of SPITFIRE, tho'... And even in the Olde Days, anything over 20# was insane... But then we had wooden rackets with bamboo shafts...

In late 90, both of them used same OEM from china. I recommand tension of 19X21 lb for that racquet.

I like the name Me-262 better. For real racket, V2 is the name...

    Just joking
