Hi, i tried searching around to find the recommended string tension for a slazenger classic racket and couldn't find any. Does anyone know the recommended string tension range for this racket? thx.
im not sure what specific model it is. It doesn't say. it says CLASSIC graphite. aerodynamic frame, 100% graphite.
Reccomended by who? If the manufacturer then will be 14-18lbs (as stated by coolfire-Any relation to cooler?). And being that it is a lower end racket I wouldn't reccomend going much higher than that. If reccomended by people then read this thread http://www.badmintonforum.com/vb/showthread.php?t=12569
Are you suggesting coolfire + cooler = cool firer? Seriously, Carlton & Slazenger should come out with a baddie racquet model named, SpitFire .
If you cant be specific about the model then 20lbs is a good benchmark, most racquets wont collapse at those tensions.
Carlton and Slazenger did generate a racquet together... Back in the early 70s... Stainless steel, round head... still have it ... Need to get back in the game after ~30 years post injury, and now have R.A. Is Slazenger still top mark, or is Yonex best?? Have a very small hand (glove size 51/2)... Thanks for the help ! ! ! Love the idea of SPITFIRE, tho'... And even in the Olde Days, anything over 20# was insane... But then we had wooden rackets with bamboo shafts...
In late 90, both of them used same OEM from china. I recommand tension of 19X21 lb for that racquet. I like the name Me-262 better. For real racket, V2 is the name... Just joking
