well this is my first time spending real money on a decent badminton racquet so im just looking for some friendly advice i wouldnt say im an advanced player, im somewhere in the intermediate range i started 3 years ago with a CARLTON Airblade lite and used that since now i have been looking at the yonex racquets and etc, cant decide which one i would like im mostly a singles player, i would say im better suited for all around play... im not exactly sure on the specs or my airblade but something near that weight would be suitable here are some of the ones that i was considering: AT 800DE Nanospeed series MP 99 AT 700 any other suggestions?
alright thanks, im quite used my airblade lite, im not sure if its head heavy or light tho, but i am more or a wrist player then arm
If you don't have a chance to demo many rackets, I will say AT500, AT800DE and MP99 are all safe choices. For SOTX, Woven 8/8A are also good value for the bucks.
Are you dealing with any price limitations? I also recommand MP99 and the Woven-8. They are both very nice rackets. Other then those: Carlton Powerblade Tour is pretty nice for singles.
Why not another Airblade? I personally dont like them but something like the Powerblade Elite if you want a whippy racquet or an Airblade Superlite if you want something stiffer.
Nah, it's almost Christmas. I imagine more like an order of 50. With a couple pairs of shb99le's on the side and maybe that new stringing machine along with a couple hundred yards of string.
I'm seriously thinking about it...order 10 more Cab 20 Tour Specials. Since I ordered my first 10, I've tried: 2U Cab 20 SP 2U Cab 20 Tour SP 2U Cab 21 US 2U Cab 30MS JP 3U Cab 30MS The 20 Tour plays just like my 20 Tour Special but I feel the paint job is better on the TS. I heard the 20JP = 20 Tour, which = 20 Tour Special (in play)... The regular 20 is a bit too flexy, as is the 21 and 30s. In addition, the 2U 30 is a sledgehammer, not balanced. So the best deal and available is the 20TS.
isn't this goin a little off topic. not to moan but in answer to the original question the Cab 30ms is not a bad racket of oval fans. I find it quite a solid racket and quite easy to generate power using just the wrist.
