Plannng to visit Bangkok for a short holiday. Can someone recommend hotels in the general WTC / shopping district area? Will also visit first sports. Am asking as I would like the latest news on which hotels are good... eg: if a 4-star hotel has been recently renovated, it would be much nicer to stay in than a 4-star hotel that hasn't been renovated for some time.
