The pg66 power feels rougher than the pg66neon. But in play the pg66neon has more precise grip, which I suspect is due to the pft being inside instead of outside the jacket of the pg66 power.
Pg66neon is as easy to string as any other string. It is easy to avoid string from twisting : just remember to always keep them straight or round, never at an angle, just like nature with its natural law of least resistance.

Does anyone know how well Hi-Qua B696 holding tension is? How long does Hi-Qua B696 last for before it breaks?

I've only tried BG9 once with 2 knots instead of my usual 4. I was disappointed as it lost tension fairly quickly for me (1 week), but to be fair I am not sure if it was due to dying grommets (replaced some at the next round), string losing tension (ala Gosen Rx200) or stringing technique/# of knots as it was done quickly at the court shop one night. I prefer BG66 between the two.
If it helps tell you what sort of feel I like, my current favourite is Ashaway MicroPower@28lbs.

I wanted to try the thinnest string from Yonex (so I can get lots of power!), so I'm considering getting the BG66. But I saw that the Nanogy 98 string is also a 0.66mm string. Dinkalot's string review showed that it had even more power than the BG66. However it costs about £7.75 from mybadmintonstore, while BG66 is £3.22 (more than half price.) So is the NBG98 worth the extra money and how do these strings compare, apart from power? Thanks.

Only way to be sure is to test it out for yourself.

But people still have their opinions and I'd like to consider them.

I just played with bg80 with mp99 at 26 lbs for several hours today. Is it just me or is it a little bit more difficult to do a drop at the net? I find it very difficult when I'm lunging in and the bird doesn't bounce off? Maybe it's my tension... Anyone else experience this?
