Im not sure if that is how to spell name correctly? He is very good, U14 player!! (From Toronto?) Does he play from lees or mandarin? (or none??)
Nyl Yakura trains at Mandarin. He is a second year U 14 player. Last year he won the national u 14 single title and was the finalist in the mixed event. It is quite remarkable for him to win a national title in his first year.
He went to Indonesia to train last summer... so he's even better now! He is a pleasure to watch.. especially since he competing in smaller tournaments in the under 19 category for boys singles.. and he can always demolish bigger and stronger opponents... its crazy!
There are alot of talented 13 and 14 year olds in malaysia... I know one, Zulfadli Zulkifli(13 years old... hope i got his name right... he is just 13 years old, that can beat malaysian state players.... has won the national under 12(3 times in a row!) beating the sidek brothers record... and is primed to be the next taufik!!! ... Just recently(kl open), he entered the national division 2 under 20 and managed to enter the quarterfinals. Imagine that! maybe Nyl Yakura can come down here and give Zulfadli a run for his money...heheheh... He plays at Subang Racquet and Golf every sunday evening...
nyl plays u16 or something like that, just finished playing the pan ams (gold in singles btw!) hes doing great, hes currently at saskatchewan with brittney tam, tracy wong, and some other guy

commentators like to mock canadians all the time... canadians havent been about to show much to the world (except: hockey and curling) what they are capable of
