    Dear Powers That Be,

I was thinking we should have a Badminton Central Member Database (BCD) for the members that want to include their information. This way:

    1) It will be easier to contact members

    2) Know where they are located and where they play so others can find them

    3) Know their equipment preferences so people don't ask a million times

    4) Don't need to click on every person's profile to find out info.

    5) The BCD will minimize general questions that are repeated over and over and over. :p

I would update the BCD periodically and save as a .gif. so sniffers/trackers can't use the info. Of course you don't have to participate and/or can fill out only what you want to share.

An example is below, what do you think? :D

Sounds like a nice idea, but a insane pain to keep going with more people. Use a databse or something where people can update their stuff? Kinda like facebook/myspace for for badminton addicts. Another plus of that idea would be the ability to sort through the collumns so for example if I wanted to know everybody who plays at x location I can just hit the location column and have it short a la excel.

Yep, did that before in another elsewhere but the problem is outside sources taking the data and using it for spam. I know BC tries to minimize this (and does a great job I might add), so a .gif file is the safest way.
