For me I think shooting and archery should be taken out of the olympics......I mean these so called sports don't even tire the body.... a ques......is equestrian tiring?
if that's the case, then what about chess?! i don't know who included chess in the first place. as for shooting and archery, it's actually tiring if you tried it. your eyes hurt after a while and your hands will be damn tired, so it's quite taxing really.
No. see www.olympic.org/uk/sports/index_uk.asp Chess has it's own "Olympiad" I think. Football, baseball, softball, tennis should go, in my opinion. and maybe basketball
Ridiculous, I say! Football, tennis, and basketball?! Baseball and softball I can understand to some degree (not moving most of the time), but football, tennis, and basketball (this especially) are extremely taxing on the body, require tactics, formations (basketball and football). Basketball especially, with its many formations, techniques, incessant flow, and jumping, occasional diving, body pounding (down in the post), it's my favorite sport aside from badminton. I am not for equestrian being in the Olympics, as the horse does most of the work, the jockey tries to remain aerodynamic and have the horse go faster, but if the horse is no good, the jockey's screwed. In badminton, the jockey would be the equivalent of the racket: minimally helpful.
Probably one of softball or baseball. Maybe synchronized swimming and rhythmic gymnastics. The line between sport and art are being blurred IMO.
that was wat i was thinkin bout......the horse does everything....the horse should receive the medal instead of the jockey....stupid sport. I also don't see what is so enjoyable watching shooting and archery....it's fun to do it but to watch it? boring
Baseball (and/or softball) is already going to be cut which sucks cause we're actually sort of good at it []. Archery is definitely tiring, just try to pull back the cord/string For me shooting can go simply because it involves guns but since it takes a whole lot of practice to be that good I still have some respect for it. Other things that can go: football because the world cup is the most important cup (and who wants to see "lazy" millionaires walk around with olympic medailles that others have to give up everything for just to get into the olympics) and it's only the u23 squads so not the best of the best. Also taekwando has to go as it's simply a ridiculous shouting match . And the level was pretty disapointing last olympics. What genius even brought up chess and snooker
Hey hey, no bad words about curling !! How else am I going to get into the olympics the easy way haha.
haha....curling is dumb....old man sport...I saw it on tv for the 1st time this year and i tot it was a joke, 2 guys scrubbing the ice the another throwing the stone...wonder if they even sweat olympic tennis, football and basketball dont attract their biggest stars.......tennis stars don't really care bout the olympics
