I can have RSL N°1 Tourney at $20.50 for 2 tubes (24x shuttles). Good price or not?

I think it is a very good price if it's inclusive with tax and shipping. In the Netherlands it costs around the 12 - 14 euro's each tube.

I read that the new batch of RSL N°1 Tourney isn't so good as it used to be...
Maybe the price dropped because of that?

I don't think that's the reason. The quality is also lower from other brands. The prices are getting higher.

Yang Yang 99a is probably a grade A duck feather shuttle. There is no such thing as a tournament grade feather. As a grade A duck feather it is over-priced. You can get grade A+ duck feather shuttle for less. All feathers are graded into grade A+, A, A-, B+, B, B-, C+, C, C-, etc., etc. The complete shuttle is then graded as match (tournament) level, training level, etc. by each manufacturer based on their own standards. Naturally, each manufacturer's standard is different from every other manufacturer's.

Shadowfuri: As30 is not too bad for Euro money. but as for US dollar, last time I got As20 it cost me around $16 per tube.

Aeroplane EG1130 is our favorite of all time and we can get them around <$18 a tube.

I kind of prefer a bird from Thailand @ around $15. It's just because I have a visitor that is coming from Thailand and he willing to bring it for me.

I'm very impressed with Wilson's Topline range. I've only used the 80's so far, which are amongst the best shuttlecocks I have ever played with. Durability, flight, speed and consistency are all excellent. A top quality shuttle. Name: SHUTTLECOCK-WILSON-TOPLINE-80-2T.jpg

I prefer as40 as the consistency of each shuttle is very slimilar and the flight pattern is excellent and consistent. The cock itself is compact and solid thus upon smashing, a louder bang and solid feel of shuttle on the string bed. As50 cock itself is more solid than 40. As50 mainly use for tourney as national player all have extreme power to smash the shuttle til it become a mushroom shaped cock. My 2 cents worth. Ever being a linemen for sunrise Yonex open. As 50 shuttles during their morning practice turn to mushroom shaped for some.

My personal fave is RSL Classic Tourney, second Aeroplane Black. I get industry leading prices on both so I'm happy either way
