    hi,
I demoed NS9kX today. I found it really decent. It got everything you can name. Control, power, defence, blah. I also tried my brother's AT800 OF.
I wanna buy a new racket, but I can't decide whether AT800 or NS9kX. I get like 10% more power out of AT800. The control, I felt NS is bit better. Defending is way easier with NS for its light weight.
pros and cons for both racket.
Which racket would you people buy? thanks.

I would pick NS9K.not bcuz AT800 OF is lousy.however, like u said,NS9K has better control due to its lightweight which is a major factor.the NS9K might lose out in power due to its light head but it can be compensated.its up to u anw. gd luck :D of cuz,I'm not a pro at this so heed the advice of the better players in this forum.

Did you demo the AT800 DE? It wasn't mentioned, but I thought I would ask.

Completely different rackets. Go with the one you like best. :)

my coach put it this way (for NS9kS):

    *swings overhead*
    *then swings underhand*

then "wow! it feels the same up here [overhead] as my racket, but is SOOO light down here [underhand]"

he has a Forza head heavy racket.

what can I say? the 9000S is the best all-round racket there is  (for me at least)!

Edit: I'd get the S version as the X version is too stiff for most people, and the S is stiff enough already

I didn't demo AT800 DEF. It's $5 each demo. I just wanna know how NS9k feels. And I don't have much money left, so I do'nt wanna waste so much.

I went to Impulse Sports at Aberdeen Center a few months ago, and each demo cost $2 a day I believe. It might've changed now, but if you already haven't gone there, give it a try.
