On top of that they just beat Singapore's pair of Jiang Yanmei and Li Yujia 23-21, 21-14 in the Women's Team SF 1st doubles event this afternoon (Singapore time) at the Dhoha Asian Games.

I was impressed that Xing Aiying was able to stretch Hirose Eriko in the second singles before losing out in three games, 14-21, 21-12, 18-21.

In 1st singles, Li Li was no match for Mori Kaori, losing in straight games, 19-21 and 11-21.

However, Singapore should be happy with its first Asian Games women's team badminton bronze medal and by beating Thailand and taking revenge of its loss during the Manila SEA Games.
