You can't blame him for what the Indonesian crowd was doing the whole time during the match with their ANNOYING "Woo... AAAAhhh.." chant. You get what you give... It's the dumbest thing ever... kind of like "we can't beat them, so let's boo them"

Not like, LYB expects a cheer from the Malaysian fans when he goes there next year(if he chooses to) anyways. He will get back what he gave to LCW before, but I doubt he will complain about that though. Since what goes around, comes around.:p

I was wondering who are those annoying fans on the stands yelling and acting as a disgrace to their country....Now i see...

if the ina fans doesn't show any class (which is their tradition), why should LYB?

if i am LYB, i will put 1 finger up, but not my thumb.

I won't be surprise if that boo came from some ina fans....they might be die hard badminton fan, but the way they are showing it is not appropriate.

lol, as a chinese badminton player, you gotta pass a noise resistance training ( i did not make it up, it's real) . Now i know the reason behind it. :D

Haven't you noticed how the noises came about?? When Chen Jin was ready to hit a shot..crowd boos, Simon ready to hit a shot.. crowd cheers........ That is just so low-class... you can cheer all you want, but booing during the match, especially during play is not just inappropriate, but not acceptable. People complained about LYB shouting...now how would you like 1,000+ people doing it at the same time???

I wonder if LYB used some of his famous XYZ!@# words while giving the thumb down to the crowd.:p

1, we can see that several guards there to maintain the order; and one guard stands there in fron of the crowd all the time
2, reporter says some fans lean over the fence to shout to LYB just above CHN coach seats and wave flags behind them.

    some one goes too far.

well, this is not NBA game, where you boo the oppoent when they make Free throws....

booing opponent when they serve is low class action, which should be stopped.......

i know that CHN team have certain kind of noise proof training, so did the INA fans' noise back fired on their own team????? :D that would be really funny.:D

they deserve a medal for helping CHN defeat INA TWICE

That's not necessary, as nobody except Indra expected Indo to win against China in team event... China didn't need any help from outside sources at all.

I always respected Indo's Mens doubles players like Tony.G, Sigit, Candra and the likes, as somehow they are very good players and show alot of class... but then the Indo crowd is nowhere close to those guys by far.

it is LYB's fault: he forgot to say "thanks" to those who fanned him with flags to bring him a cool breeze.

good replies everyone. My motto is, if you can't take it, don't dish it.

If i'm simon santoso and hearing booing on chen jin, the INA fans is showing no confidence in me because they have to boo my opponent to give me an edge, ie acknowledging my failure. Their cheers neutralized by the boos, so the INA fans isn't really helping at all except showing that rudeness.

    woodenracket: LOL, good one.

when INA lost, blame LYB for beating them.

Rule of thumb, when things are not going your way, blam LYB.:D

I did not realize blaming LYB is becoming a fasion in countries like MAS and INA.....wow.:D

as LYB and Chinese players really have some kungfu: LYB can help to win with his lips, and now thumbs, and LD is more terrifying: he beats his opponents just with his "air of arrogance"!

I doubt the Indo fans care weather its a thumb down or others sign, they are always like that, and it's part of the game. (Too bad Mas player are not noise proof :( ). Well at least the rudeness is from the supporter and not from the player or coach ( like certain player and coach:) )...

Yeah, it's completely understandeable, I would have done something similar :p. What were they booing at? Just the fact that CJ won? If so that is indeed pretty low...

I remembered this one as well. When they were training in Yiyang, the staff instead put on music, they put up the noisy cheering (and booing) background, to let the players get familiar with the fairly hostile environment. ;)

LOL pretty clever really. There's so much more to being a professional than skill alone :).
