Hey guys! We're looking for about 10 members at the Grange Badminton Club. It's run by Roman and Ann Yashyshin - really nice people, Ann was the former Ontario Champion!! Roman is offering $40, until May. Feather birds provided. Sunday mornings, 9am until 12:30. First come, first serve. "D" level would be great. You can come early and play singles. Interesting, from what i last remember (1st week of september) aren't there additional fees that need to be paid to the community centre? 1) 1 year $10 membership to the community centre 2) $5 for every visit you make to play badminton? Still a decent deal (especially since i'm a 5 minute walk from there). I've played there a few times and it was a great place for some FUN badminton. If you want fairly competitive games, there are sometimes 4-6 good players, otherwise look elsewhere
The other fees were waived because Roman worked it out for the Badminton Club. There is a once a year $10 card fee for the centre. Bring a freind and sign up, because we're only going to have good games if we have good players. I'll even help set up games if it gets busy. Look for the blond hair.
That's good news to hear dolbydog that Roman was able to negotiate the removal of the additional $5/visit fee. The $10 membership fee really is a bargain and allows you to use the other services the centre offers. Wish you the best of luck!
