Somehow, I don't care about the colors of strings anymore (as long as it matches with rackets)

Now, I just hope Yonex would come up with more colors on high end strings, such as BG-85, BG-68TI......(because they really don't have many colors!)

Lol... I think this should be really "unique" looking...

Btw, for ur location, is that "Baoding" instead of "Boading"?

anything as long as its not pink or fushcia.

The last strings i have used are red, blue, and lavender. I usually stay away from white, coz i find it a bit plain.

Grips have to be a dark subdued color for me coz i dont want the wear to show too much. Light colored grips look really dirty after just a few games.

I used to string a Ti-10 for ppl, and his original string was BG65 (black). I replaced it with BG65 (white). That was long time ago, so, I could not post a pic.

Personally, I don't think the color matches at all, as I don't like to put dark color string on a light color frame. If using black string, i prefer racket like cab20ms (black + dark green).

I don't care what colour my strings are, or what the paint job is like on my frame. I suppose I'd prefer to have no additional colouring on the strings, because it might make them more "slippery".

Default Color Pigments Creates Poor String?

This might have been a rumour (maybe over 10 years ago), yonex (or some other manufacturer) had a certain colored string that tended to break very easily (due to the color pigments?).

If you had experienced this, did this influence your current choice of colors?

I am not saying it's an ugly color, but seems it defenitely not as "conservative" as white. Plus, at least in chinese culture, green + red is a very bad combo. If we know how popular red is used in rackets, I wonder why Gosen only issue Jade Green for the entire series.

Gosen claims that their BioGut series is made from biodegradable materials. Perhaps the colour of the strings has something to do with those? It is also conceivable that Gosen wants to promote an environmentally friendly image, and hence the jade (greenish) colour with the strings.

    I see.

But shouldn't they use dark green to be more real? The Jade green is surely shiny, but looks more fake for plant.

Darn, I sent my racquet for stringing and the stringer had no white BG85s. Not wanting to make a second trip as well as I need to the racquet for the next day, I ended up putting on a light blue set.

It plays the same of course, but somehow psychologically it don't feel the same. I feel as if my racquet is responding somewhat differently. I do understand it could have something to do with the re-tightening of tension (new), but somewhat it feels somewhat different,

There you have it, another example in string-colour-affecting-play situation. Dunno if this' a valid one.
