    Colour PREFERENCE

I just was curious to hear this from the rest of you guys/girls.....

Whats your colour preference for you strings?

My personal favourite is black because that way i can't paint any logos onto my strings to ruin the strings....

    thanks for all replies

Plain and simple, white with nothing else.It goes with almost any racket.

Though Black looks great on some rackets like the Ti-10 and the Carbonex series. Carb 20,21,23 and 25 that is.

    Something surprising

My preference is really for the white strings of BG85.
When I used to string with BG65, the preference was white as well. Well, I just had some sort of feeling that the white colour strings sat on the racquet better.
Logically, there shouldn't be a difference, right?? OK, so for years I tell myself "don't be silly, the strings are the same. It's only psychological".

Aha, so I'm talking about badminton last night (what else?) and I am told that one pro player prefers the white or yellow of BG65. Not the other colours.
So apart from Taufik, who else uses a different colour string from white/yellow.

And, having the Yonex logo sprayed on the strings stops the strings moving sideways too much.

white. If you have white strings your opponent can;t see the shuttle as fast because he can't see it come off the strings rite away. Most players usually can see it very fast though

But would that make a difference. The shuttle is on the string surface for a split second only

I like white as well. Probably unlike all of you guys, I appreciate having a logo on my racquet. I don't know why, I just like having the logo on it.

My recently restrung racquet came back with a purple BG65.

Funnliy enough, I still don't quite like the feel of this string colour compared to my other racquets which have white BG65. It's wierd.

(BTW, I switched back to using BG65 because of the durability issue. BG85 breaks really fast for me).

    Anythign BUT white and Yellow...

since those are the color of the birds. Also, I would NEVER have pink strings on my racket.

My pereference is probably blue... But I wouldn't mind if I got strings that matched the color scheme of my racket :D

    lavender BG-85 for my AR-110
    violet BG-65 for AR-110
    black for AR-77

But I tend to agree with Cheung, that white strings have a psyhologically different feel to others. I have white BG-85 on the AR-110 now, and it feels different to having purple - just doesn't look as good! haha!

I like both black and white string but I think any color would be fine with me. I guess when you are married you learned not to be picky about little things like color. :)

But if I can have my way I would like to have a string that has two tone color just like some fancy car with two tone paint. That would be really cool. The string would change color as you swing.

    :D :D :D

i am not sure if it is psychological or not. but i feel that the some of the color strings are more slippery.

I like black too since I think it looks cool but you still can paint logos onto the string using white paint :D

Am currently using silver since that's the only colour the Winex Ti-80 strings that I have in stock. ;)

I choose dark blue BG-66 with my MP99 because blue is opposite color of yellow and I think it's interesrting to do that. But I use white bg65 with my TI-10. I think it's too pale.
    :D
