I think his problem is that he attacks less --- he needs to quicken his pace and move the shuttle quicker. When he does, he wins. Check it out yourself.

With respect to LCW, its still the gift which TH and LD had over him. Which is about 1%. The mental. For those who played at the highest level, I am sure you know what it means. My dua cent worth.

the thing abt the media is that they never stick to that same side.

when lcw wins, they go, "oh, he's a great player" n stuff. when he loses, they hammer him by the way the language is constructed, making it sound as if that he isn't such a good player, him lacking wadever. it's just like that. the reporters are human beings and they take sides.

but i think it's wrong to put the players down with their style of writing. they can say for example, "taufik won the first set in only 19 mins" making it sound as if it was an easy game. on the other hand they can write,"after 19 mins of tough fight, lcw's skills were still not enough to beat the olympic champ"

makes a lot of diff rite??

that's why we cant always follow wad the newspapers say. leave the reporters to say wadever they want. we know who's the great player in msia.

for all we know, other ppl will know that there's even a country called msia becos of lcw.

lcw will always do his best in wadever competition he joins.

    and that's enough for me.

I dont think he lacks speed... I think he lacks flexibility at the top end, both in the wrist and the body... He is very strong in both areas but not that flexible.
    that's my 2 cents.

I think li mao will say... "you must hari hari mau!!!!" then only can win!!!!
or maybe, he will say "stay away from Wong Mew Choo, she is bringing down your energy levels!!!" hehe....
    kidding!!!

but really, I think he played very well in the semis... I downloaded the 2nd game between lcw and th and his smashes were awesome dude!!!
He just need to be more patient like taufik... hehe and have a bit more mental strength...
