So far I had my yonex bg 65 strung at 23lb on my nanospeed 9000. I don't it will ever snap or break. I usualy just play about once a week of badminton. Sometimes very agressive and sometimes just normal playing. I used this string probably for 10 times=about 12-15 hours. Do you guys think it'll snap? Right now it feels like around 20-21lbs
I see, I was kind of sure it woudn't snap... Well sooner or later I'll have to change the strings because I really odn't like this string..
You also have to take in consideration, about the strings performance. This is because the moisture dries up in the string over time, therefore the performance will fall away. This would estimate to happen withn a year, so it is a good idea to change the strings by then. Azn_123, try using the string I use, you might like it.
I am using Gosen Pro 66. On the NS9K specifically, it's at 24.25lbs. On my Swing Powers, it's 25.75lbs. - Both of the rackets are done on the Prince Neo 1000 machine. - Both rackets are essentially equivalent in tention (sound).
Uh, depends on how you play. I slice quite a lot, plus I use quite a bit of power, so even at 23lbs, I sometimes can pop them in 2-3 weeks with playing 4 days a week for about 2 hours. But normally, it should last you quite a while if its 23lbs with BG65s
my bg 65 22lbs on cab21 last me throughout my whole primary school years So i guess so you forget about your stringer for the next three months.
I see..I slice quit a bit now too. Smash, and clearing from the baseline. I can even see the bg 65 now has a few scratches due to playing probably..mehh maybe it won't even break??! Or maybe it'll just get looser and looser.
No I think 65s loses the tension to a certain point and stays that way, but I can never be sure since it snaps before I can make sure that's the case. 23lbs is quite a normal tension though, not too high or too low.
nop it wont BG65 is pretty durable and you only used it less than a day, but It might be posible that you played so aggressively(guess you're pro), that you loosen the tension so quickly, and 23lbs is not very high it wont stress the string that much
