hope we can analyse what lindan did wrong rather than just saying lindan can do better and taufik was lucky and stuff, makes alot of fans argue and quarrel
I agree! hehe poor TH and LD

The defending champion said his personal rivalry with Lin did not have an impact on the game, and he offered an olive branch of sorts.

"I never speak to him because I don't speak Mandarin and he doesn't speak Indonesian. But we are okay," the seventh seed said in English.

"Everything is okay, I think maybe the media blows these things up."

"Taufik played much better than I expected," he said.

"When I was leading 20-17 I felt I wanted to win so much. That's why I lost eventually."
    1. he is well motivated and fitter
    2. nothing going between LD and TH lol
    3. LD underestimated TH which is why he lost (he said it himself )

Taufik is simply a more gifted badminton player than LD.

well, i saw the HKO match, LCW was tired out on the 3rd game from about 15 point onward.
You don't consider a smash outside the court as an unforced error????

Almost every net shot, baseline-lift etc is a "calculated risk".. trying to hit-the net cord, lifing to hit the baseline etc.. is a calculated risk.
Still.. Outs, and nets not being forced by preassure from the opponents play are unforced errors in my book.

Just out of curiosity, whats yor definiton of an unforced error??

Lin Dan lost because Taufik got smarter, and used all his energy to prevent a 3rd game from happening... that's all.

And Xie XIng Fang said that if not because of the Indonesian supporters, Lin Dan would have won that match.

I think that Taufik's form was superb last night esp his net skills.Lin Dan didn't have much chances to use his powerful smashes.

Why would I need to bash him if he lost... I would have only praise Lin Dan if LD won.

I would feel "hurt", if I was playing the Asian games final, and lost "myself"... not because someone else lost...

I honestly observed Taufik's footwork closely when I watch his matches... I always learn from him, not like I think he sucks or anything... I learn from the pro's matches... Only thing is that I dislike Taufik's actions at times, and how you TH's die-hard fans make silly comments about him. It's fun indeed, exchanging comments with you TH's die-hard fans and watch you guys go crazy with my silly comments. In fact, I am not much of a LD fan, as I prefer to watch Peter Gade more, and Fu HF's smashes just inspires me to get better... I support LD just because he seems to be the only one whom can shut Taufik and his fans' mouths...

In fact, the only player that I actually dislike with a passion is KKK from Malaysia simply because of the silly way he acts in a game.. watch Thomas cup semi(Malay vs Den), and see how many times KKK shakes his a$$ prior to CCM or the Danes' serves... and how idiotic he acts when he scores a point... but I don't bash him much except this time... I think you can be very cocky as a doubles player if you are as good or better than like the great ones: Tony, Sigit, Candra, Kim Dong Moon...etc.. but this guy is far from being there at the moment.

That looks funny and much better than crying... but I have to respect him for not throwing his racket after winning the match, as I think throwing racket means you don't even love your own racket which helps you win your matches...

I won't ever pick a shuttle up with my racket, because I refuse to damage my racket in any way possible.
