 I know the bg 80 has a little more durability than the 85. The 66 has the nice pop sound, good power but bad durability. Out of these 3 strings which would you rank 1st 2nd or 3rd for power, control, string feel, grip, etc. Thanks, found lots of forums but I want side to side comparison. Please reply!!! THANKS!:)

    quite easy..

    power: bg66, bg85, bg80
    control:bg66, bg85, bg80
    feel: bg66, bg85, bg80
    grip: bg66, bg85, bg80
    durability: bg80, bg85, bg66

    (yes, I used ctrl+v...sue me)

The simplest way to explain strings to a person is "you can have it all"...the 'best' performign string doesn't have great durability (because it's thin gauge gives it it's performance, largely..)
and the most durable string doesn't play that well...
so it's really a personal question on how much you're willing to spend on it...(what is your personal middle road between durability and performance..)

(though there're exeptions, the strings that feel "the best" because they give people the middle-road they're looking for...
or the people praising the string have a tad more limited experience...IE: "BG68ti is súch a great string! it performs waaaay better than my rally21 string, wow!!!!!!";):D
