actually RTM 1's AG program they just interviewed Rexy and KKK/TBH..... Rexy said he wasn't expecting them to reach the finals because they were facing Markis/Hendra....but they did....and he also said he's only worried about Korean and Indonesian pairs and not Cai/Fu..... He said Cai/Fu are only good at attacking but when you penetrate their defense they are really weak.....so he's not worried by Cai/Fu
They are sure that the other teams are definately stronger than KKK/TBH. He admits that. But the gamble in this pairing this time is that they are new and the other opponents are not used to this combination. However Rexy acknowledge that KKK/TBH pairing still have alot of things to learn and improve on as he cited 'Pair of the future". Both of them played well and they did listen to his tips. Can really see that they wanted to fight for themselves, the country and their coaches.
Of course I 'd be stupid not to say that as it ll hugely increase my bargaining power against BAM. Rexy is smart, he came out very humble, but anyone knows the bottom line of what he said is, look I haven't parted all my knowledge and experience and the pair is already AG gold. He might get higher salary than the natl' head coach, from now to the 08 OG.
rexy will really need to have a bonus for tat... no matter is in $$ or some holidays... he deserve a reward!!!
Yap deserves a raise too... He is a great head coach. Rexy beated him bad when they were players but he hired Rexy to coach MD. If only LYB can hire PJB to coach Chinese MD...
all i know is that rexy kept on emphasising on the words, "if they dont get too big headed" when he was saying that the pair can be top pairs in the future. hope wad he said will come true
