Based on what i've noticed. Most international playes (including Taufik, Lin Dan, Peter Gade...) are using AT700. But some have switched to NS9000 already (like Zhang Ning , Chen Jin, Gao Ling, Huang Sui, Cai Yun...). Most of them not using MS series anymore. Malaysia's Lee Chong Wei is using NS9000 too, while my favourite lady player, XXF have also switched from AT700 to NS8000, then now NS9000 Type S
I was previously using Ti10 (a few international players still using this model). It's a powerful racquet compared to my old Yonex models. But after 2 yrs, i found a crack at the tip of the racquet head, the same thing happened to my fren's Ti10. So i thought that this model may be not so hardy. I then bought two AT300, which the feeling is very close to Ti10. But after 1 yr plus, one of my AT300 cracked at its wooden handle. B4 I got it repaired, I went to buy another racquet - NS6000. The feel of this model is totally different from my previous racquets, because it is head light balance and the flex is high. NS6000 is fast, i really appreciate the speed! Though u may be losing that little bit of smashing power initially, but after sometimes, u can quickly compensate it back with its faster swing speed. And the LSC tech and 'solid feel core' in NS series do work well, it eliminates the vibration which will normally generated in head light racquets. Then i found that i have problem switching back my AT300, so i need another NS racquet for backup. I should have bought back the same NS6000, instead i chose to buy NS9000 X (extra stiff) finally. NS9000X does give u faster whipping speed, but somehow i still feel better with my NS6000, maybe i have not up to standard to handle such racquet, yet
You can't really go by what the Pros use. Yonex pushes them to use their flagship racket(s). Besides, Pros can use any racket and adapt to it and play well. You need to see what you prefer.
What is your play style? Any peference? eg.like you prefer even, head light or head heavy Is the minor different in price matter to you? The best way to know which is suitable for you is to borrow one from your friends and try it out.
Yup very true. I know that Yonex was pushing some players who kept using Ti-10 before they finally swithced to a new racket to promote it. Might of been Peter Gade.
