I am recently looking for a new racket for myself and I happened to found out that the prices in ebay are so much cheaper than any other resellers around.

But when I looked at some of the feedbacks of those sellers, I realised there are quite a lot of fake yonex around, even though they are power sellers. Therefore I'm being extra cautious about purchasing rackets in ebay now...this saturaday I have chat with some of my friends at my badminton club at school, one of my friend have actually also bought a fake NS9000X from ebay too...

Now I just want to know how can I identify a racket whether if it is a genuine racket. If I have a laser engraved serial number and cone code with me, where can I check if the racket is real or not.

    Many thanks

    duck_fried_rice :)

Well, if you use the search, you will find the information you are looking for.

There are two reputable sellers on Ebay who sell genuine rackets. The two are Tum98 and Sumai03. Other sellers, those are at your own risk unless checked throroughly otherwise that they are ok.

Question: What racket are you looking for?

a valid serial and date code does not mean the racquet is real. search means the search in the forums. as for serials, there is a thread on the forums that you can check your serial. by the way, i believe bluejeff has an article somewhere about distinguishing genuine from counterfeit racquets but you need to find it, I forget where it it.
