Has anyone tried the Memory Graphite Series of DHS. I was told this was the newest line that came out from DHS. Feed backs would be great.
Just saw it on the DHS's website. I have not tried it but if it's anything like the Top VS2000 and 3000, it should be good.
They are now available in HK and a model (M3??) was tried by Forrest Yung. Hope he could turn up here with comments
How I wish DHS would provide more information on their english website. Anyway, based on the Chinese site these rackets (M330?) are shorter = 665mm. Anyone knows what exactly is the advantage & use of memory graphite? Also, what's the difference between the Top VS Series and the Pro VS Series?
Got my hands on the M520 model and it looks really nice. Tried hitting with it and it sure is an offensive racket. Head heavy and a bit heavy for a 4U. Still haven't figured out how to maximize the racket though. Will probably add another overgrip and see from there.
Cderick9, where did you get the racket? Are you the supplier of DHS in the Phils? Are the TOP VS3000 available already? Based on the website, your racket has the following char: layer layer Material: Memory-graphite+NICKEL TITANIUM MESH Length: 674±1mm Balance point: 285-290mm Weight: 4U(84-86g) or 3U(87-89g) Usl: G2 String tension: 22-26 lbs Fitted play: Off If you combine the info above and Dink's experience, DHS's racket weights are borderline/heavier versions of the common, U-4U weight classification. At any rate, I'd still prefer to test the rackets (specially the TOPVS3000).
Eravalo, I got the racket from topcoms marketing in taft, the rackets just came in last saturday, it so happen that I know someone from the company, that's why I got the info really fast. The Top VS 3000 2U version came in also, they also have the M620 model also. yes, i have to agree, they are a bit on the heavy side compared to others but quality wise, I have to say they give great quality and excellent prices. They are good rackets in general.
Thanks for Scott Kam to bring me back... I bought M330, the top model of last year. My comment is .............................. don't buy it. It is hardly to say what's wrong, not solid enough, power not good enough, ball feeling is not good enough. HK BCers can borrow the racket for testing if whom wants to buy it. DHS introduced M5XX series quickly, I think DHS may find the problem and make a great improvement.
