    Doh! I meant Lurid Power 21 > Lurid Power 23 > Lethal 70 > Lurid 22 > Slayer 99

Thanks ssj100, I'm going to order the Tantrum and not the Visible Hollow.

I'm also curious about other rackets, including the Visible Hollow 2020, Lethal 90, Lethal 100, and Slayer 99. However, I don't think I'll be purchasing any of them unless I get to test them out first. I'm really not convinced that any of them would play better than the Tantrum 300 or Lethal 60/70, and I'm definitely not convinced of any significant technological improvements (eg. Lethal 90/100 have an apparent built-in "muscle power frame"...whatever that really means). To be honest, I think I'm sticking with my current rackets until a big break-through occurs and becomes available on the market - I don't forsee this for at least another 2-3 years. I don't think the Voltric 80, MX80, or Brave Sword 12 really boast any significant technological break-through.

Anyway, another 2 hour session coming up for me today. Can't wait to work with the Tantrum 300 and Lethal 70 again!

I wonder if anyone has any opinion on the Slayer 66 string? Pretty tempting to try since it's 0.66mm.

Sorry if this is out of topic as it's string related. But hey...I'm a big APACS fan

I personally prefer the Yonex BG65 string, but the Slayer 66 string is decent too.

Sorry to keep repeating myself, but I seriously can't praise the Tantrum 300 and Lethal 70 enough. An interesting phenomenon occurred in my session today though. For the first hour or so, I played with the Tantrum 300 and was getting some powerful drives, sharp power smashes, as well as consistent delicate play at the net. Then I changed to the Lethal 70 and it took me at least 15 minutes to adjust my technique slightly to get the booming power I know it can deliver. I think this is because the Lethal 70 is slightly stiffer than the Tantrum 300, and a bit more head heavy. It's interesting how a slightly different racket spec can play so differently!

    Hi all,

Under my own measurement, the little 4g BLUE cab will change the BCP 6-10mm back from the original BCP. How the player interpret this change into his playing style will depends on his skill and preference. LP21,22,23 are head heavy with the RED cab(1g). Overall racket weight will increase by 3g. This is simple maths. LP21,22,23 can't be MORE head heavy because the end cap will only move the BCP back to the handle. The other way, is take out all the weight so the BCP will move forward about 2mm.

Depends on how sensitive of your hand, some players will never feel the diff. but it does not mean this mechanism does not work.

    Thanks

Thanks for a fairly objective statement. Going by your theory, it also sounds like you can achieve the same "mechanism" by making the grip thicker at the bottom of the handle. Personally, I still feel that this "mechanism" is barely significant.

Guys, I'm considering getting a couple more rackets. I already own these:
    Tantrum 300
    Lethal 60
    Lethal 70
Lethal Light Special (thinking of selling this one)

I'm considering getting one or more of the following rackets:
    Lethal 90
    Lethal 100
    Slayer 88
    Slayer 99 (2U or 3U?)
    Visible Hollow 2020.

I'm not really sure which one(s) though. I tend to be a power player, but don't want the racket to be lacking in defense/fast drives too much. Any ideas?

    Hi all,

For players who want easy to use and powerful racket ....

    consider these 2 ....

    Slayer 95 ..
    weight : 82-85 gm
    flex : Medium
Shaft material : 40T graphite with Nano Carbon tube
    3K Woven carbon
    Blade X-section Frame

    Stern 330
    Weight : 84 - 86gm
    Flex : Medium
    Aero-dynamic X-section
    1.5k Woven carbon

There 2 are designed for player who do not prefer STIFF shaft. Easier on the speed of swing. Fast on defense ..

Power is not a problem with these rackets ...

Since they both have medium flex shaft ... You will have noticeable different from STIFF racket.

Decided to wait until the next Tantrum or Lethal racket (or next big thing) comes out before considering further purchases. Going to focus more on technique and footwork in the mean time!

ssj100, I'm loving the lethal 70 now.. I'm just finding it an all around solid racket. Took me a bit to get used to it but I'm using it exclusively now.
