No, it is not true for everybody. It depends on your wrist action. You can generate equal amount of power in you smash like that of heavy rackets. In fact I have noticed that TLE is better in term stability compared to many other 4U rackets. So it will be easy to put the shuttle down wherever you want.

It is true for me that I was unable to deliver enough power like that of a heavy rackets for fore-and back-hand clears.

i think it's not 6U but 5U. am i wrong?

Anyway, I think apacs class their weights differently to Yonex. I can't explain why they would call a 77-78g racket a 6U otherwise.

3U VT80 is doing great for me - it's still the new "toy" for me, so I've hardly touched my T300 and L70 for the last few weeks. To be honest, I don't think anything has changed significantly except my footwork and conditioning have improved - nothing to do with the racket. The VT80 smashes feel nice, but I'm pretty sure if someone measured the actual speed of the shuttle, it'd be pretty much the same as my smashes with the T300 and L70 - again, it's all about technique and racket adaptation. In my opinion, those that find one racket hugely better than another are generally lacking technique etc and are below B- level.

It is OK, I just need some time to get used to it.
Balance is much different then my previous racket.
Badminton is not big, but... It`s getting bigger.
We have some promising juniors. Won some medals in Badminton europe junior / youth circuit.
But... Basketball, Handball, Football, Waterpolo, Voleyball... Those are traditional serbian sports.
And now, every kid wants to play tennis because of Novak Djokovic.

At the beginning they were useful for me to improve footwork and some trick shots.. but at later stage I started to use 4U then 3U/2U.
