I would stay away with APACS (except Visible Hollow: VH series) for a 13 yrs old because of vibration issues. However VHs are too heavy)

There must be some junior rackets available from other brands in the market.

for full size - Dunlop Aerogel 5000 (US model - < $100) (flexible & headlight) is worth a try.

does anyone ever compare the series of VH 2020 with VH 2000 and VH 1800 in terms of feeling, power, responsiveness, swing speed, head-heavyness, etc.. ??? because i really want to try the latest series of APACS VH since VH 1800 is out of production so i can't purchase it anymore

i really often play doubles and really like doing smash and clear shots,,,and with slightly variation with dropshot, drives, net play...

thank you very much for all your help...

    I have VH1700, VH2000(2), VH1300 and new VH1800.

VH2000 & 2020 are the same. VHs are for offensive games.
frame is more aerodynamic than 1800. frames have elliptical shape. it cuts through the air easily.
easy to make points in fast & aggressive rallies.
I have the new VH1800. all the latest VHs do not have the AV caps. I found vibration dampening works well without it for both new 1800 and 2000.

I wonder how much a T500 is going to cost in Canada.. I hurt my shoulder so it's rough playing with my Li-Ning racquets now but using my Lurid Power 21, 22 and 23 feels like I'm hitting marshmallows.

I'm new to this forum and hope it will be a good learning experience for me. I have to say that there is alot of informative comments regarding APACS rackets. I have tried lethal 70 my main racket, tantrum 300, slayer 99, lethal 100, apacs nano 9900 and apacs z-slayer. I feel that the nano 9900 and z-slayer are more geared towards club players, and the rest for more serious seasonal players.

That said I have heard from APACS PK that the racket is supposed to ready for international release by end of november i.e the Tantrum 500, tweet 6000 international, tweet 8000 international. I have not got my hands on these rackets, my understanding is that these rackets will incorporate a technology called T-Throat and form, which is an improvement that should make the racket feel different. I'm guessing less twisting and less vibration!
P.S love the pictures of Tantrum 500 and tweet 8000 international

If anyone out there has tried the Tantrum 500 or tweet 8000 let us know how it behaves.

Why is APACS UK always out of stock? I want a cheap badminton bag to store spare rackets, but I can never seem to find any stock of any sort on their website. :S

Stadium Sports are the only official seller for APACS rackets in Australia. They're pretty helpful and have good communication.

Netbiz (also on Ebay) are good too for prices and service. They're also having a 15% discount on some rackets for October only. I bought a Tantrum 200 and Lethal 90 from them because of the discounts. One Lethal 90 left in stock.
