Ordered AMP 95 from www.apacscanada.com and saved $16 on shipping by opting to pick up from their Warehouse..
Can't wait to get my hands on it..
Does anyone know how does Apacs Ti 65 string fare? I thought for $10 I might as well try it out.
    Will post my findings soon!!
I may get another one from Racquet Sports on EBAY if I gel with the AMP 95..
What about the Furious and Lethal series rackets? Anyone played with them?? Feedback please...

    Default Apacs racket help

    Hi

Could anyone with access to APACS specification or experiences able to help me ?
I would like to know which APACs rackets that have
    1. Even balance, medium flex
    2. Even balance, medium to stiff flex
    3. Head light balance, medium to stiff flex
Basically, I am looking for APACS racket that is suitable for a player who is still not capable of generating his/her power so require a medium flex racket and do not want head heavy rackets.

I do not mind if it is not the latest APACS range of rackets, even the nanospeed range is okay.

Hope someone from the APACS fans can help

head light and medium to stiff... how bout try nano 900 power white. that is if you dun mind that its stiff.. generally apacs rackets are not as heavy when compared to their yonex version. less the nano 700 and the Lethal series..

    Hi,

    Thank you for the feedback.
Could anyone help me out & explain how did you judge the flex & balance from the details given on the APACS site?
    eg
    1. Flex 8-9 is what? flexible or medium or stiff or extra stiff.
    2. Balance: 285 +/- 3mm: The balance is measuring from the handle end or from the Head end?
    3. Balance: 285 +/- 3mm: How do you tell it is even or head light?
    4. How do you interpret the Shaft out/In Dia 7.6/4.8 or 7.1/3.8 ? What acn it tell you about the shaft?
    Thanks
    Hope someone can help

Default APACS Flex: 8-9 compare to Yonex Medium

    Hi,

Need a bit of help from APACS fans.
I am using an APACS Nano7700 power & it is suppose to be flex: 8-9
I am looking for a Yonex Nanospeed 7700 to try but I noticed that it is Flex medium.

Apacs flex 8-9 seems to be STIFF??
So will the Yonex be to flexible?
    What do you all think?
Any experiences that can clarify for me?
    Thanks

If i remember correctly Apacs number mean the degrees of flexion of the shaft when 20kg of weights is placed on the shaft. The more degrees(larger number) the more flexible it is.

    Hi phandrew,

    Thanks
so looks like the APACS nano 7700 power I am using is flexible (8-9).

In that case, I just search APACS and found that the edgesaber 7 is medium stiff so I guess the Flex rating should be lower numbers, maybe 6-7?
Anyone else have experience these two rackets and possibly the Yonex Nanospeed 7700 to clarify for me?

    Thanks

medium flex is probably about 7.5-8.5

They are both near identical rackets since one is a clone of the other. I would just stick with the Apacs nano 7700 since there would be little difference but the price is quite different.

    Hi phandrew,

Thanks for the reply but I am still confused

Could you just clarify your statement:
    (A)
"They are both near identical rackets since one is a clone of the other. I would just stick with the Apacs nano 7700 since there would be little difference but the price is quite different."

Did you mean the APACS nano 7700 power vs the Yonex nanospeed 7700?

    or

APACS nano 7700 power vsthe Edge saber 7?

    (B)
"medium flex is probably about 7.5-8.5"

This applying to the Yonex nanospedd 7700?

    or
are you refering to the APACS edge saber 7 with medium stiff?

    (C)
My APACS nano 7700 power with flex 8-9,
Is this Stiff or it is only my imagination since you mentioned that in APACS the higher the number, the more flex it is.

    Thanks

or perhaps you can point me in the right direction where a APACS expert can clarify the APACS Flex clasification

    A) The Apacs Nano 7700 is the clone of Yonex NS7700 so the specs will be similar.

SOTX uses the same stiffness measurement system as Apacs so read it here.
