Good to know! If you have a strong arm and decent technique, your smashes will be lightning quick and very penetrating. It's also not a bad racket for defense and fast drives, which is surprising for a head heavy racket.

In saying that, I'm finding that the Tantrum 300 is my "go to" racket now - it's just the most fun to play with and on average, my smashes are more powerful than the Lethal 70. However, I can get more powerful smashes with the Lethal 70, so I probably just need to work on technique. To be fair, I've been using the Tantrum 300 more often than the Lethal 70, so I've had more time to "adapt" to it.

I rarely use my Lethal 60 now, even though it's pretty much identical to my Lethal 70. The strings on my Lethal 60 have become quite loose (probably about 24 pounds) and I prefer the higher tension on my Lethal 70 (26 pounds). I think my ideal string tension is 27 pounds, so when I next re-string, I'm going to ask for a tension of 25/27 pounds.

Any idea which apacs racket is closest in terms of spec and usage? I'm seriously considering the BS10/BS12 but still couldn't justify the high price. Currently using T200.

What do you mean by "closest in terms of spec and usage"?

By the way, is your T200 4U, 3U or 2U?

My T200 is 3U.

I like the idea of the aerodynamic frame of the BS10. But also like the flexier shaft of the BS12...

The Lethal 90 has apparently a more "aerodynamic" frame. But does that make it a better racket? Maybe, if you adapt to it well. Seriously, it's mostly about technique.

Comparing it with the 70, the balance seems a little bit less head heavy, but it is a very small difference. After picking it up and playing a few shots it felt very similar to the 70, very solid on impact. This is what makes a racket in my opinion, it has to feel solid, and you can tell this from the very first shot you play. Stiffness is the same as well, but the one difference is the frame design on the head, with the lethal 90 being a bit more aerodynamic. Do you notice this when playing shots? Not really, no. With it feeling more even in balance it means you lose a bit of power from the rear court, so in my opinion it is not as powerful as the 70. However, it feels a whole lot better at the front of the court because it is easier to swing around for reaction shots, so net play is improved, as are defensive and reaction shots.

If you want a more head heavy racket, go for the Lethal 60 or 70. They are great rackets too.

It's an interesting colour, but it's quite different to the VT80 colour.

I recently invested in a Tantrum 300 but have yet to get used to the stiff frame. It's agony on my arms and wrists at the moment but when I do hit the sweet spot, it's a marvellous racket. It feels strangely like my Arc 10, but somewhat stiffer and probably heavier in the head. It is a quality racket, no doubt, and for the price is a great bargain.

If you can't handle the stiffness of the Tantrum 300, I would not recommend trying the Lethal 60/70 - they are even stiffer. As far as I understand it, apacs grades stiffness from 7.0 (very stiff) to 9.5 (very flexible). The Tantrum 300 is graded at 7.5-8, which I suppose is at least moderately stiff. My Lethal 70 is graded at 7.5, which I suppose makes it slightly more stiff. If you have the arm speed and power (or just decent technique), you should be able to wield them just fine. The precision and power of these rackets are simply amazing. The beauty is that I find I can still defend with them very well (particularly with the Tantrum 300), which is a huge bonus for head heavy rackets.

From my experience, the NS 9900 is certainly a very different racket to the Tantrum 300 and Lethal 60/70 - it's much more balanced/head light - generally not my type of racket.
