does anyone have a problem with these at first. My last experience they felt like crap, but after awhile they were the best strings ive ever tried. Or maybe BG 88 Ti wasnt built for nylons D:

Maybe, we don't have the BG-88 Ti here in Singapore. I still use the BG-65. I used to use the BG-65 Ti. But i found that they were the same except the BG-65 has more feel that the BG-65 Ti

i find that these titanium strings dont offer anything over the normal ones... yonex claims that it can retain the tension better, but it is to be doubted.

I also found out that these titanium strings have lesser feel...

Hey, I'm using the BG-88 Ti strings.
It's true that there is less feel with the titanium strings but I've already gotten used to it!
Titanium strings are also more durable than most strings unless you're talking about BG-65 of course. ;)

well see, i get this really strange feeling at first, but after awhile it feels good (BG 68 Ti at least) But i was thinking, maybe the 88ti wasnt built for nylon birdies, could this have anything to do with it?

I dont think so coz i think Yonex would have designed all their strings to be "suitable" for all types of shuttles, rackets, grommets etc......

So i doubt so.... But the strings also have their downsides. I used to use a Gosen Roots 2000 that i'm selling to Yogesh and i used it for 2 sessions and the strings broke. The BG-65 broke..... So i had the grommets changed and restrung with BG-65 again and its been fine since....... so grommets has effect on the strings as well

    Yonex Ti Strings- Breaking in?

Well, had some discussions with some people, Mustafa being one of them. It seems that as an observation, certain 'hard' strings like the BG-66 and the BG-68Ti need a short 'break-in' window before the strings play well ! About an hour or so of play and it feels good, but pretty crappy most of the time right after stringing!

But for the BG-85 which is a 'soft' string, it plays right and fantastic right after stringing, no matter the tension chosen.

Do you guys have similar experiences ?

Yeah Gladius, that happened to me with the BG66 strings. At first the feeling is weak, but after a few hours of playing, the characteristics of the strings change a little.

As Gladius has pointed out, it will take a while b4 the strings break in!
I feel that the BG-88 Ti on my MP 100 is really good! Has anyone tried BG-90??
