Thread: Inversion Table
12-16-2006, 11:55 PM #1
As some of you are aware I recently had to drop ou of a tourney as I woke up the morning of to find my lower leg/foot numb.
Turns out to be a compressed disk in my back.
Along with chiro treatment etc, I purchased an inversion table. Ten minutes decompressing the spine sure has helped.
if you have lower back problems I'd suggest looking into one. It's not the cure all, but it sure seems to releive the pain for me.
But one warning - makes sure you get the inversion angle right. I didn't have the limit strap right and ended up competely inverted and stuck for a minute.

I have seen it at Sport Depot. Hope everything works out.

I don't know if this helps in your situation or not, but one exercise I like to do in the gym is hang off the pullup bar, tucking my knees up to 90 degrees and gently twisting my hips from side to side. It feels especially good after a heavy set of a strength training exercise loading the back like a squat or good morning.
