I would come down hard on LD too because he was too lax or reverted back to his old ways again when playing against TH at the 06 AG MS title match. By now he and LYB should knows u can't play netsie with TH but LD somehow keep challenging TH at the net in both game 1 and 2.

This could be for a reasons. Two I can think of:

Who knows? The fact of the matter, LD lost. No biggie. It's not the first time and certainly won't be the last time LD loses.

The fans make you a king, and you better stay up with their expectation. If not, then...

I guess the fans are spoiled by their recent success in TC/UC and WC.

fans in general expect way too much anyways, especially when you've been as consistent as LD. i don't think it even entered their mind that he would lose in the final. his loss in the team event to LHI was slightly more acceptable because team CHN won in the end quite comfortably, but the individuals is another matter.

Everybody gets bashed when they loses, no big deal actually. Guys like TH and LCW gets loads of bashes here as well hehe. Only if u r good enough, its kinda normal for ppl to hv higher expectations on u.

Either of them can beat each other, therefore agree with your first sentence. On your second sentence, if LD lose to Qidong (and that is quite possible, hahahaha), not only LD has to find a place to hide, Qidong, let me warn you, XXF will be looking for you to be her boyfriend, now you may be in deep sh*t up to your neck....hahahahaha, lol.

LD just showed too much respect for TH and played too cautious a game. LD should just play his game, avoid netsie as you said and who knows if the second game has gone LD's way. I pitied LD in OG08, playing in Beiging with the entire nation weighing on his shoulder, man! that is a real pressure-cooker.

I don't understand, isn't it every man's dream to be XXF's boyfriend?
