Hi. I wanted to buy 2 yonex nano8000, but at the end i decided to buy 2 Victor Artery Tec 99 because some good coaches said me that Artery 99 is almost the same of Nano8000. But today my boss said to me that VICTOR will not make Artery 99 in 2007, because they wille create a new catalogue with new models of rackets and so I can't buy my Artery 99 because i have to buy it from Victor and not from common badminton shop... for sponsorship matter. Now i ask to you .... do you know the new Victor catalogue 2007? If yes, is there a model like Artery 99? Which? Please answer me. I am angry!
You are angry?! Don't be angry, be hap, hap, happy! It's the holiday season! If you are sponsored by Victor, why not ask them yourself?
i'm a bit confused, what do you mean you have to buy from victor direct because of sponsorship matters? doesn't a sponsorship mean you get the racquets for free?
One of the new model of rackets coming out for victor is called Power Waves... it says it has a Carbon Wood Handle =/ i ono if that makes a difference or not. And something called power waves on the racket head. Sorry thats all i know
Have you checked the Victor website? I've never heard of a Victor catalogue but that doesn't mean it doesn't exist. Lots of people here use them and Victor sponsors teams and events here but I have yet to see one sold in a store. All the online shops have them now, though, although that, too, took some time. The trouble with Victor is knowing what the high-end is. For example with the Super Nano series, the SN, SN-2,3, and 5 seemed to be incrementally high-end racquets but the SN-6 and 7 were called "PRO" and seemed to be much cheaper. That may be true of the Artery Tech "PRO" models in the above link. As for the even newer Cls Artery Tech models, I have no idea.
I have not a personal sponsorship, but my team has a sponsorship with Victor. With our sponsorship we can't have free all the rackets that we would.... but Victor gave us shirts, shorts, coveralls, etc.... and we can buy from Victor with price more cheaper. Understood? So at the start i wanted to have Yonex Nano8000, but when my team signed this sponsorship, i would prefere buy from Victor. For example: Normally a Artery tec 99 costs 100 Euro, i can buy two Artery 99 with "only" 135 Euro. Now we have known that Artery Tec 99 there is not in Victor warehouse because they sold them and have decided ( ) to not make it again for next year. Whice will it be the new model like Artery 99? Anyway i knew that Artery 99 was the best Victor Rackets. Do you know other model better? Now i play with Victor Magan 1500, but i would buy a racket more offensive and a good coach said to me that Artery 99 was the best choice. Help me. P.S In Victor Website there is only catalogue 2006. Maybe i wille have today new catalogue 2007 but, anyway, i would need help because i think that search a good racket from a catalogue is a bad thing. Some people that playing with Victor can help me in my choice? Have you seen rackets of 2007 catalogue?
Are they offensive rackets? I have inside wave 1500 but i found Artery 99 more more offensive than mine.
if what you said is true.. i've got to buy myself new AT99's... AT99's are extremely durable... i strung mine at 31lbs.. and the stringer said he has one that has 35.. amazing... also, at99's frame is also like at700... see it for yourself.. the cross section of the head is soo thin... the only diffrence is the artery shape and the at700 is a little head heavy..

You want good offensive? How about the Super Nano series? The Power Waves are also offensive, at least that's what it felt like when I tried one.

You should find out what the sponsorship entitles you to. Inside Waves, Magan, ATB, Dual Pipe are all trademarks of the European Victor line. Artery Tech, along with the Super Nano and Power Waves, which other members have mentioned here, are from the Asian Victor line(as it says here: VICTORArtery Tec TI 99 Description: Taken 100% out of Asian-collection of toppplayers.) As far as I know, the AT-99 was one of the few Asian Victor racquets that made its way onto the European website. The other two are the AT-98 and the Challenger Ti-70. Some of the Super Nanos and the Power Waves are offensive but if they don't show up in the 2007 European catalogue, you might not get your discount on them. I know nothing about the European models but others here do so listen to them. As for the discount, supposedly Mattshop sells the AT-99 for 2300 New Taiwan Dollars, or about 54 Euros. Of course, you'd have to know someone who could read Chinese and then you'd have to trust the overseas shipping etc.
victor has a new racket super Ti-30, planning to buy it with my pay but i have to chosoe between artery tec and ti 30 im stuck i cant make up my mind
