I'm not sure what to write on Gosen rackets, i've only ever tried 1 anyway which is my Gosen Roots 2000. This is up for sale btw if anyone is interested.

But anyway, this racket is a long racket with a long grip with a classic oval Gosen head shape (very round). But it was on sale for $119 at a "cheap" badminton shop i saw here in Singapore. I got mine from my uncle's friend so i got it free but i do realise that when i see Gosen rackets in shops here which are not many, they all seem to be overpriced...... A Gosen Roots 2000, costs about $89 even though theres nothing special about it. The Gosen Gavun 5000 Ti costs about $139 and even then theres nothing special about it and its i realise that all Gosen rackets are very heavy!

Does anyone realise this about Gosen rackets? Meaning their expensive and heavy? Whats their position in the market now?

Don't get me wrong, just because their rackets are expensive and heavy, doesn't mean that their crap. I like my Gosen Roots 2000 very much, only thing is that i can't play very consistently with it coz of the oval head. I think i'm too used to Isometric heads now!

    thanks for all replies
