He didn't need to do that ahaha, because last days they talked a lot together .. Joko was a bit shy with girl, so i talked with him but then he talked to yanyan =p .. though his english is not really good, he makes a lot of efforts to speak =)

I think this is good...Frans Kurniawan with Sigit while Rian Sukmawan with Eng Hian....SIgit n Eng Hian are both experience player while Frans n Rian needs expereince......I can ee one thing happening....Rian n Frans might pair up after they get enough expereince playing with Ko Eng Hian n Mas Sigit.......So Another generation of doubles Pair

1) Markis Kido- Hendra Setiawan
2) Alven Yulianto-Luluk Hadianto
3) Hendra Gunawan-Joko Riadi
4) Rian Sukmawan-Frans Kurniawan
5) Maybe Rendraw should play wid his brother Chandra????? WHile Yogi pairs up with Tony Gunawan..........

But Currently we have 6 pairs n 3 of them are competitive.........this is looking good

But wat about mens singles??? We do need new players

We do hv singles, Ko Simon Santoso, Sony D Kuncoro.. Tommy Sugiarto would be one of the next generation.. He's quite good.. And another one, but I frgt his name..

Tommy I haven't seen him play....Sony is currently doing well under Hendrawan....He just need to gain more confidence.....Simon n TOmy needs to be given more chances so they gain experience......Markus Wijanu is also good n Andre Kurniawan in Singles..........

While Mens Doubles I think the only rivalry will come from Korea n Malaysia....

In the long run we might want to pair up Rian SUkmawan with Frans Kurniawan while ko Candra n Tony should split n partner Rendra n another young player.....this way they can learn from ko Candra n TOny.....I really hope Indonesia can win the Thomas Cup in Jakarta.....

Simon Santoso did a great job against Peter Gade in Copenhagen Masters '06, but yes I agree. They have to compete more and therefore gain more experience.
What I know of, Hendra A. Gunawan & Joko Riyadi, have played together for 4 years, or at least played in tournaments for 4. I don't know if they have played together for a longer time.

Well they reached the semis of Asian Championship in 2005......So they are actually showing promise here.....Well I hope they will reach the top 10 by the end of 2007....or maybe top 5 since now they are in Pelatnas
