received it today and the serial numbers are 6077401 and 300362JP. the racket came with the yy logo already on the strings and it is prestrung with yonex bg65. it also came with a full cover and a cloth one. everything looks real to me. the only suspect bit to me is on the cone where the yonex writing is with the logo is it is a bit off centre. help appreciated minesh
90% it's a fake. You'll find your answer here: http://www.badmintoncentral.com/forums/showpost.php?p=366073&postcount=670 If possible, please provide the auction number for this racquet or the ebay seller's name.

Yes, only JP coded nanospeed 9000s racquets have that name. Other things you can know it's a fake: serial numbers were not laser engraved, most JP racquets only carry cloth covers and the cone that you've suspected.
what kind of engraving is on my racquet? it came with both covers. do counterfeit racquets also have the yonex logo on the string bed? minesh
i understand the grommets are wrong but which logo do you mean, on the cone? or on the strings? minesh
Errrr... Sorry to say, another "too good to be true" case comes to the reality. Well, wish you luck to get the refund.
I can see it's a fake from the first picture. -> The bag is a fake. All fonts are distorted and in different sizes. The label is wrong. 9000X racket should have 9000X label.
Yup good call there too. The stitch job itself looks suspicious. Also the racket label which is incorrect, the textstyle is wrong too!
