I have been reading some threads about shoes. I am still not convince and confused on which shoe actually fits me well.I want some advice.

I want a shoes that has good cushion and support.I have long feet but not very wide feet.I need something that can last me for sometime.

I have looked at Yonex and Ascics but still i am very dead confused on which to get it.

So help me out here!!! thanks

Well shb 99m's are badminton shoes which offer more support then those nike indoor shoes. It also has many other technologies on it. Check yonex.com it has all that stuff.

hmm okay i think i should try them out..

I have heard that all nike indoor shoes cannot take the ammount of stress like shoes that are made specifically for badminton.

Nike shoes are pretty but they cant hold up to the ammount of punches that give to the shoes....

Hmm does anyone have any ideas on acsics????

Nike indoor court shoes cant really handle the load we are apply at our feet.

Mizuno got one of the best cushion out there, but it rather expensive.
More than the top of line Yonex in singapore.

You are probably referring to Mizuno Volleyball shoes which is an apples to oranges comparisons. Of course Volleyball shoes have better cushioning than badminton shoes because of the nature of the sport. Some people in these forums have reported that they injured themselves using a volleyball shoe while others say they have no problems. Again, it's up to the individual user.

If you try Wave Smash S1 which is a Mizuno badminton shoe, you'll find that its cushioning isn't as much as the Yonex 90/99.

    good badminton shoes

    Hi,
I had used Yonex SHB99Ltd,Mizuno Wave Smash and Asics shoes, and I found Asics is pretty good n provides good cushioning for my feet. The price is comparable to other brands' models.;)
I think Asics' shoes cushioning is better than Mizuno. :p

So far i find this song comfortable with good cushioning. It fits my feet perfectly and i find it very comfortable to wear. The traction on the shoe is also not too bad..

I heard that Nicol David the reigning Squash Womens world number 1 is wearing the same shoes... hehehe so cool!!!1

I'm using Muzino Wave Rider 2s (this is the North American name, so I dont know if this is equivalent to the Wave Smash), and I've been throughly satisfied with them. Someone I know uses the Wave 4, and he says they're the best shoes he's ever tried.
