Kindly translate the local terms for everyone's benefit and enjoyment, particularly for foreigners who don't know the dialect/vernacular - what's 'sabar', 'foya-foya'?

Heard from a friend, LCW not only invited LD and his wife to the former's wedding, but also to a friendly exhibition XD game . Husband and wife against another husband and wife. If really so, I am so looking forward to it.

Now these badminton ambassadors truly do something good for the sport than BAM can ever think of, whose part time boss comes over once in a while to check 'what's up'.

SUBANG JAYA: The office of world badminton number two Datuk Lee Chong Wei was broken into overnight and computers worth about RM30,000 stolen.

According to his elder brother and company director Lee Chong Hoon, 38, the first-floor office in Bandar Puteri Puchong Jalan 4/9 near here had been moved into two months ago and renovations were still on-going.

He said closed-circuit TVs had been installed but not activated yet.

Chong Hoon added that his brother has been informed of the break-in.

Staff entering the premises at 9am Monday found the door open and three of the six rooms in the office ransacked.

A report has been lodged at the Puchong Jaya police station, Chong Hoon added.

I wonder if LD will come to the wedding. LCW didn't seem to prioritize going to LDs wedding banquet despite his invitation. So I am curious if LD and his wife will make the trip to MAS for LCW wedding???

In chinese custom, usually they don't attend another person's wedding if the dates are too close.

Chong Wei stays focused despite his office being burgled
    By kng zheng guan
PETALING JAYA: Everybody, it seems, wants a piece of world No. 1 Lee Chong Wei these days.

On Sunday, thieves broke into Chong Weis office at Bandar Puteri Puchong and carted away several computers, including one which contained pre-wedding pictures of Chong Wei and former national shuttler Wong Mew Choo.
But Chong Wei, who is already in Odense for the Denmark Open, has promised he wont let the burglary affect the task at hand.
I informed Chong Wei the minute I heard about the incident, but he was probably still suffering from jetlag and was a little groggy given the time difference, said Chong Weis elder brother, Chong Hoon.
He was concerned about the theft because it might affect the wedding (scheduled for Nov 10).
Still, he said that it will not affect his performance in Denmark ... were all hoping for the best.
The good thing is that despite losing several computers and the pre-wedding pictures, we have back-ups of those pictures ... so its not too bad after all.
Were also fortunate that the thieves did not take the three racquets worth RM74,000 ... we have lodged a police report.
The racquets were sold during an auction initiated by Chong Wei last year for the Japan tsunami victims. The racquets are still in Chong Weis possession because the winning bidder has yet to claim them.
Meanwhile, Chong Wei, who is slowly returning to form after winning the Japan Open last month, has a clear shot at making the Denmark Open final.
The 30-year-old Penangite will face local talent and former world junior champion Viktor Axelsen in the first round. A win should see him come up against Thailands Boonsak Ponsana next.
In the absence of arch rival Lin Dan, Chong Wei should cruise into the final where he is tipped to face defending champion and second seed Chen Long of China.
The other Malaysians in the fray are Liew Daren, Chong Wei Feng and former national shuttler Tan Chun Seang. Reigning world junior champion Zulfadli Zulkifli will start from the qualifiers.

From the above post by eagle.....

Does this mean what I think it means? If so, it's a crying shame...

The thieves didnt steal the racquets, most probably they think not worth much and harder to sell. As for the winning bidder, I suppose then they just wanted to donate, the racquet not important to them.

Just joking - probably BOTH the donor and thieves are LIN DAN's fans, so both also don't want LCW's racquets !!

Wonder if the winning bidder has paid them.
